Pilot Project for the Development and Dissemination of Nitrate-Nitrogen Purification Technology

Pilot Project for the Development and Dissemination of purification technologies for Nitrate/Nitrite Nitrogen Pollution
The purpose of this project is to develop and disseminate technologies not only for the prevention of groundwater pollution by nitrate/nitrite nitrogen but also for the purification of contaminated groundwater.

This project includes field demonstrations of such technologies on a variety of polluted conditions and the evaluation process thereof. It has been conducted since FY 2004 and will continue to FY 2008.
