Domestic wastewater treatment is a focus topic of the second phase of WEPA started in April 2009. It is a major cause of water pollution in many Asian countries and there is an urgent need to strengthen countermeasures. Considering this fact, WEPA promotes information sharing on the latest knowledge and policy responses which helps the WEPA partner countries to consider effective solutions.
Survey Results and Reports
To collect basic information to further examine how to address the issue of pollution caused by domestic wastewater in the WEPA countries, WEPA hold workshops and conducted surveys. The result will serve as a reference for future WEPA discussion.
